The Chief Academic Officer (CAO) assists the Superintendent in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the instructional program of the school district.聽 The CAO manages the offices of research and accountability along with the district鈥檚 curricular areas, including elementary and transformational instruction, special education, world languages, and career/technology. The CAO is responsible for the development of instructional programs that will improve student performance.
