The AISD hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Sept. 13, 2018, to kick off construction (), and groundwork began the last week of September 2018 (). The building opened for students in January 2021.
Project Scope
The districtwide fine arts center will serve the entire district, grades prekindergarten-12, with world-class performance and demonstration venues, along with classroom and gallery space.
