Campus Behavior Coordinators
As part of the Texas Education Code (Sec. 37.0012), all schools in Texas shall designate a Campus Behavior Coordinator whose primary responsibility is to maintain student discipline for the campus and be a contact for parents or guardians concerning individual student disciplinary actions by the school. The person or persons designated may be the principal of the campus or any other campus administrator selected by the principal.
Expectations
All students are expected to be READY, RESPECTFUL, and RESPONSIBLE. ÌýÌýEach classroom will have a behavior matrix to ensure the understanding of all expectations upon entering our building. It is the purpose and intent of the teachers and administration of Arlington High School to develop and implement a discipline plan that both adequately handles issues that arise and keeps students in the classroom as much as possible. If at anytime you are unable to follow our expectations, appropriate consequences will be given based on the severity and frequency of the offense(s) that are committed. Below are some basic expectations:
On Time Arrival
Students are expected to be on time to class every period,
Visible ID
AISD expects all students to wear ID badges to ensure easy identification of students and campus safety. All AHS students have their school ID at all times, and the ID must be visible.ÌýÌýThe first ID card is made at no charge during the beginning of the year and there is a $5 fee for any replacements needed.ÌýÌýReplacement ID’s may be purchased in your students attendance office or Library.
Adherence to Dress Code:
