Dear ACHS Family and Friends,
When Arlington Collegiate High School at TCC鈥怱E enrolled its inaugural class in 2014, 122 students had a vision of what their futures could hold. Now, nearly four years later, many of these students will soon be graduating with their high school diploma and an associate's degree from Tarrant County College. After graduation, almost 100 percent of our seniors plan to continue their education in pursuit of a bachelor鈥檚 degree from a four鈥恲ear university.
While many of our Lions will receive financial aid, nearly 90 percent of our students come from lower socio鈥恊conomic backgrounds and qualify for free or reduced lunch. They will still require significant financial assistance in order to pursue their dreams of acquiring a four鈥恲ear degree. In an effort to assist our graduates with the increasing costs of a university education, we have established a scholarship called The ACHS Lionheart Scholarship. We would like to ask for your help in supporting this scholarship. Your generous gift to the ACHS Lionheart Scholarship will be used to help our graduates complete their academic dreams and will lead the way to the pursuit of rewarding careers for each recipient. Every dollar raised through this initiative 鈥揟he ACHS Lionheart Scholarship 鈥 will directly benefit graduates from Arlington Collegiate High School and will make a difference in the lives of some of the most outstanding students in AISD.
